Made in America. Built in Detroit.
All AMV4 engines are built on the outskirts of Detroit by Performance Assembly Solutions (PAS) using domestically sourced components. PAS has been building engines since 2000 for the likes of General Motors, Ford Motor Company, Roush Performance Parts, Indian Motorcycle, and others.
The PAS team are experts in supply base management and manufacturing process control. Over their tenure, PAS has built over 80,000 engines. This includes the entire production run of V6 twin turbo engines for the 2017-2021 Ford GT supercar.
The key components used in each engine are manufactured from tooling owned by SHP. Owning the tooling was important to SHP as it mitigates SHP and their customers from being the victim of component obsolescence that often happens when manufactures rely solely on other sources for their key components.
All AMV4 engines built by PAS will be assembled
following PAS best-practices process’ which includes:
Coolant cavity air decay testing
Oil cavity air decay testing
100% end-of-line cold testing
Optional: Dynamometer testing
100% traceability for all variable and attribute manufacturing metrics
PinPoint process management control
Use of DC torque control for all fasteners
Multiple in-process and end-of-line breakaway and running torque measurements
